Dr. Gabrielle Armstrong is the Professor of Archaeology at Jefferson University. She took over after the retirement of her mentor, Dr. Edgar Stanton.

Dr. Armstrong has a habit of not wearing shoes if possible - she prefers socks only. This has led to her nickname of "Professor Sockfeet".

Among her closest friends and associates are Sarah Sophia Peterson and Mercy Black, both of whom are known to be connected to the Shadowlight League.

In demeanor, Dr. Armstrong is firm but fair.

It is rumored that, on a dig some 30 years or so ago, Dr. Stanton and Gabrielle (she wasn't a doctor yet) found something that has been suppressed. She will not comment on this.

UPDATE: Gabrielle has made her debut in the pages of the rebooted Autumn Bay. See it here!

Is it bad that as soon as I saw the name of the character I knew she was yours? She seems like a cool person, and I love her hair! What shape are her earrings there? I can see part of one, it looks like an ankh.

Hmm... it would seem that I have a naming convention. I didn't realize that... (I know I have one for more fantastic names, but I didn't realize it extended to modern names.)

She will also have a minor-major part in Autumn Bay. Not a main, but auxiliary.

About her hair: thanks! I was trying to go for "professorly". I think it worked.

Her earrings are both ankhs. I overdid it on the blackboard and accidentally blacked them out. (That's what happens when my goal is to pick up speed by doing these as quickly as possible.)

"No, Dr. Armstrong--it is YOU who belong in a museum!"

Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Dang it, I forget which CF producer is actually a professor of archaeology, but I'd swear they said that with their Ph.D they get a fedora and a bull whip.

There's a reason the word "Neolithic" is on the blackboard. To be fair though, she isn't the Dr. Henry Jones, Jr. type (I hate to use the name of the state that forms the basis of his nickname right now). That would be her mentor, Dr. Edgar Stanton. He was quite the adventurer in his day...

Dang it... you saw through my ruse.

And yes, speed speed speed! Knowledge might be half the battle, but the other half is "get there first with the most".

Radiant Sophia
Hiya chief!

You know she doesn't really like being called "Chief", right?
